Democracy prevails on the floor of parliament

I REFER to the article by John Nonggorr in The National (Dec 13) regarding the struggle for power between Sir Michael Somare and Peter O’Neill.
I felt it was one-sided.
I say parliament is supreme compared to the executive and judiciary as it is where “source of power originates”.
The source of power is the people and that power is transferred to the 109 elected MPs who form parliament and the decisions made are final.
The Constitution is not part of parliament.
Therefore, it cannot elect a prime minister.
What transpires in parliament is a display of that power through elected MPs and cannot be undone by the judiciary.
Judiciary can define the legality and illegality.
It should not enter the floor of parliament and interfere with the democratic process.
