Department heads must review staff list

THE statement by Southern Highlands provincial police commander to investigate and identify policemen and women still on payroll despite their non-existence or doing nothing must be applauded.
As a concerned citizen, I am asking other heads in Mendi to do likewise.
There are many people living and working in Port Moresby, Lae, Goroka, Mt Hagen but are on the SHP payroll.
Most of these people stand on ATM queue to withdraw money every fortnight for doing nothing.
They are no better than criminals.
All departmental heads or those responsible should look into this flaw and remove these corrupt public servants from the payroll list.
