Department holds dedication service

 THE Ministry and Department of Agriculture and Livestock, held a dedication service at the Sione Kami Memorial Church in Port Moresby on Wednesday.

The service was to dedicate the sector and its work to God. It was attended by the department and ministry officials, staff of the commodity boards and other individuals who have interests in agriculture.

United Church moderator Rev Sir Samson Lowa, who let the service said, dedicating the year to God was the way forward.  He commended the department and the ministry for organising the service.

He challenged the congregation to put God first in everything they did so that the grace of God could strengthen the management and the staff to move the Department from one level to another.

“Before you do anything, you must start with God. If we are doing it with God, it sets a new drive,” Rev Sir Samson said.
