Department to present plan

THE Government will be presenting a medium term Transport Plan 2 (2019-2022), to see how infrastructure can be developed from the transport sector, Transport secretary Roy Mumu said.
Mumu said this last week during the release of Solomon Air’s Dash 8 after undergoing a heavy maintenance check by Air Niugini.
“My minister (Transport Minister William Samb) will be presenting the medium term Transport Plan 2 within the next couple of weeks as soon as Cabinet approves that we will be launching and in there we can give some policy insights, and most importantly some infrastructure that will be developed by our three modes of transportation agencies.”
