Determination and sacrifice win Prasad trip to Japan

It takes determination, sacrifice and commitment to achieve a dream and Asween Prasad has done just that.
Prasad participated in the Toyota Tsusho South Pacific Holdings (TTSPH) Group Skill Contest 2018 in Port Moresby on Tuesday, winning the parts adviser category of the contest and a trip to Japan.
“It has been a hard job but I am going to Japan now,” said Prasad.
He has been with TTSPH’s dealership in Fiji, Asco Motors, for 12 years and has been contesting for the past three years until now when he won the parts adviser category.
Prasad said it was his night at the presentation in Port Moresby, as he had been dreaming for that moment after three years of putting extra effort into his work and everything had paid off.
“This award is dedicated to my family back home, especially my two sons,” he said.
Prasad was very grateful of the opportunity to take part in the contest again and to finally get the chance to go to Japan.
He was emotional and speechless.
All he managed to say was how unbelievable it was because he, after three years of trying, had won.
“I tried my best from the very beginning through till the end,” Prasad said.
He thanked Asco for providing the platform to achieve his dream.
