Different sides but all still have a role
The National, Wednesday July 1st, 2012
I ADMIRE the leadership of caretaker prime minister Peter O’Neill, Belden Namah, Don Polye and Sam Basil.
When they were in the government for nine months prior to the general election, they performed well.
I thought the team would continue but O’Neill has now decided to dump Namah and team up with others.
I hope this new team will also perform well in the interests of the country.
I congratulate Namah and Basil for successfully retaining their seat for another term.
As far as I am concerned, they are true leaders of this country and the people have confidence in them.
At least we will have strong leaders on the opposition to defend what is good for the nation.
By providing a strong opposition, they will show their abilities
