Digicel opens flagship store

Business, Normal

DIGICEL PNG last Thursday opened a flagship centre at the Vision City to allow customers to get a feel of the products they have on display.
Officially launched by NCD Governor Powes Parkop, the store will feature new products in cell phones, accessories and laptops, which customers can touch and feel.
Digicel’s chief executive officer John Mangos said this was the first of its kind in the Pacific and, was  so far, the biggest  retail outlet in the country.
He said most of the services that Digicel provides were first in the world and homegrown, such as the ability to pay for electricity, send and receive money, buy phone credits and more.
Mangos said the success of Digicel in PNG in the past three years was due to “having the best team who are innovative and continue to push the boundaries to ensure that PNG experiences only the best”.
