Digicel-PPNG tie-up

 POST PNG (PPNG) customers nationwide can now instantly top up their Digicel cell phones using the telco’s new electronic top up option which is merged with the point of sale terminals.

The new scheme offered customers and retailers a faster and improved service, Digicel said. 

The new electronic top- up service, first of its kind in the country, was launched last week at Boroko Post Office and University of Papua New Guinea and would be rolled out to all 47 PPNG branches shortly.

The system was now integrated into the retailer systems by which it offered a more efficient sales process, with no stock management attached and greater opportunities to sell the product linked to the other services which they provide.

For customers, the new electronic top up experience at PPNG branches would be faster than other options and each customer would be provided with a printed receipt confirming the transaction.
