A GROUP of 60 Digicel senior management and business solutions employees from the South Pacific attended the company’s inaugural business solutions annual conference in Brisbane last month.
The conference was held on June 27 and 28 and hosted by Gary Cobain, the head of Digicel’s Pacific ICT Business Solutions.
It was a training platform for Digicel staff to increase their knowledge of business products and services to provide better solutions for Digicel’s customers.
Cobain said the conference focused on increasing awareness on the benefits which technology could deliver for businesses in the South Pacific region.
It includes increased efficiency and productivity.
“Digicel is a leader when it comes to providing IT and telecommunications services to customers in Papua New Guinea, Fiji, Vanuatu, Samoa, Tonga and Nauru,” he said.
“The conference discussed Digicel’s business mission – to offer our customers new network centric Information Communication Technology services and solutions that support their business requirements and help solve real business issues. Our people are very important to Digicel and it is through training, developing and empowering them that we expect to double our business over the next three years.”
Digicel business colleagues from Caribbean and Central America, regional senior executives and business managers addressed the participants.
