ALL government officers at the provincial and district levels have been told not to play politics during the local level government elections.

Deputy Prime Minister and Inter-government Relations Minister Leo Dion issued an advice to all public servants to adhere to government processes and avoid engaging in politics that may ruin the conduct of the elections.

“It is improtant that those at the provincial and local levels must not play too much politics during this LLG election,” Dion said.

“The people look for the best and loyal leader that can involve their concerns in decision making processes. The national level has its politics and those at the local level must not attempt to play it.”
