DISABLED children from the Morobe Special Education Centre in Lae will have good reason to smile today when they open the city’s fourth Big Rooster outlet in Top Town.

They will be among the first to eat at the fast food eatery.

Big Rooster’s Lae area manager, Lawrence Sequeira said yesterday the decision to give underprivileged children a chance to officiate at the latest addition to the fast food establishment was in line with the company’s community commitment.

Sequeira said the children from the centre will be allowed to eat whatever they want today when the new shop opens at 10am.

With four Big Rooster outlets already in town, Lae will be seeing another seven opening in the city over the next two years.

Big Rooster Top Town is on Sixth Street, with customers offered drive-through service from there and at Central Avenue.

Indoor seating is complemented with three outdoor gazebos for those wanting to dine al fresco.

“More people have extra money that they can spend on an alternate meal and Big Rooster is meeting those demands by opening shop soon in Kainantu, Goroka, Mt Hagen and Madang,” Sequeira said.

“We will be catering for birthday parties and other functions as well,” he said.

Opening hours are from 8.30am to 8pm seven days a week.
