THE education sector got the biggest allocation of funds and building infrastructures in Mul-Baiyer, MP Koi Trappe says.
Two high schools, one secondary school and plan for another two schools were to be built under district service improvement programme in Western Highlands, he said.
Trappe presented the 2018 acquittal to the Department of Implementation and Rural Development saying his focus is on developing the district.
“We have looked into law and order by purchasing police vehicles,” he said.
“We also built two high schools and one secondary school and are planning to build to two more schools.”
District finance manager Timson Yahmarai said more than K10mil was used for the projects.
The district would focus on education, bridges, roads and law and order, he said.
Department of Implementation and Rural Development Secretary of the Highlands Layton Roroi said Mul-Baiyer had the most developed infrastructure.
“The DSIP policy of the five-year plan shows that it made many districts throughout the country change.”
