STUDENTS attending the Holy Trinity Teachers College have been reminded not to deviate from their training to become Christian teachers.

Archbishop of Mt Hagen Archdiocese, Douglas Young welcomed staff and students to 2014 academic year at the opening mass.

He said “we should always uphold Christian principles at all times and circumvent immoral demeanor and conducts”.

He urged everyone to continue to evangelise to students entrusted to our care in the ministry of teaching.

He emphasised on the desire to evangelise to each other daily in the college community and with peers and family members.

He commissioned the students’ representative council members of the college who have vowed to represent the student body without fear and favour and support the college.
