NORTH Fly MP James Donald has welcomed Kina Bank’s fee-free transaction account, saying it allows customers to save more.
Kina Bank chief executive officer Greg Pawson recently announced the introduction of the bank’s new fee-free banking product.
It will be launching its new pay-as-you-go product called the “Kina everyday account” for new and existing customers.
It will not have a monthly account maintenance fee.
The bank said the new product would ensure that customers could manage the amount of fees they incurred.
“Simply by choosing how to transact – whether to use an ATM (automated teller machine), Eftpos, internet banking or Kina Konnect – and how often, customers can manage how much they are charged,” Kina said in a statement.
“The easiest way to keep fees to a minimum is to use Kina Bank’s digital channels – all of which come with low transaction fees.”
The key features of the new account included:

  • NO monthly charges;
  • NO Eftpos fees when using Kina Bank Eftpos terminals; and,
  • MINIMUM opening balance of K10.

The bank’s existing customers can apply for a Kina everyday account via internet banking.
