Don’t misbehave students

Letters

NOW that some schools have wrapped up the academic year and many are nearing closure, students should understand that they still have a very long way to go.
Our parents have worked tirelessly by investing a lot in our education.
They see us as important assets to them and the communities that we belong too.
It has become a norm for students to misbehave when schools’ are nearing closure.
Students should respect their parents, tribesmen, communities and most importantly respect themselves.
To respect ourselves, we show a sense of being passionate with humility and compassion to our fellow people.
We are the elites and leaders of this great nation.
All our actions depict good values and characters that people anticipate and admire.
For a university student to go back to his/her community being intoxicated with alcohol or having betelnut stained teeth with smoking odors is totally unacceptable.
That particular student paints a bad picture.
He or she is an eye sore to their family and their community.
This is not what an educated person is supposed to do.
As educated people, we should act accordingly. We are future leaders, therefore, we should imitate all things that a leader should do.
Entertaining ourselves with unethical activities is uncalled for.
Let’s be responsible citizens and enjoy our holidays amicably with highest respect to ourselves and our people.
Let us positively impact the lives of people instead of ruining them and ourselves.
We have got standards.
We are the agents of change.
We are nation builders.
We are leaders.
