Dragons make corporate snooker final

 STARLAND Dragons 2 are the first team in the grand final of the Pacific MMI Port Moresby Corporate snooker titles.

Dragons 2 edged out Starlands Dragons 1, 4-3. Dragons 1 will meet Lamana 1 tomorrow at the Port Moresby Country club and winner advances to the grand final on Sunday.

PNG champion Djorne Fong led Dragons 2 when he beat Roger Ng 2-0. 

Phil Magic continued his unbeaten second round to level the scores when he outlasted Ong Ben Huat, 2-1, in a marathon three hour match. 

Dragons 1 captain Joey Chan outplayed an out-of-sorts Robin Boston Seeto to lead 2-1 but Dragons 2 came back with Helen Samuel and Chris Ningis winning the fourth and fifth singles respectively  for a 3-2 lead after the singles. 

All finals will start at 2.30pm.
