Dragons on cue for corporate finals

 WITH only two more games before the finals, two Starland Dragons teams are leading the Port Moresby Corporate Snooker A grade competition ladder.

Led by Roger Ng, Starland Dragons was in devastating form beat Lamana Two and Lamana One respectively last week to stamp their mark in the corporate snooker.

The Dragons teams are followed closely by a fast-finishing Topshooters on third spot ahead of Yiannis Nicolaou and Arua Simoi’s Lamana 1 while Falcon holds on the 5th spot to make the final five with two more games to go.

The corporate snooker continued with Sunbird Aviation Falcons break a losing streak when they defeated Port Moresby Lift Services Turbos 5-2.  

Best for Falcons was Noel Ramos while Milan Dirua starred in the Turbo’s loss. 

Starland Dragons 1 edged out Lamana Two 4-3 to maintain 1st place. 

Ng with a blistering break of 37 was Dragons best with Fred Nihara playing well for Lamana.  

Tournament Director Joey Chan has advised that the C grade games scheduled for next Wednesday June 5 will be played the next evening Thursday June 6 due to the 1st State of Origin match in Sydney.
