Drivers, too, are at fault

Letters, Normal

PNG is moving at a fast pace since the LNG project came on board.
Two of the many infrastructures being built are roads and bridges.
These two are getting bashed at the moment because of a number of accidents resulting in deaths of some high profile people.
We know qualified engineers designed and oversaw the construction of these infrastructures.
Therefore, should people blame what they themselves built because of the fatalities?
Is there another cause?
What about the ignorance of traffic rules and road signs that are put up to warn drivers and commuters for their own safety?
Maybe the drivers are the worst culprits for causing these accidents.
Unless and until drivers are educated, accidents will continue to happen.
It is about taking ownership of things and changing mentalities that can make a difference.
