Dua: Focus on delivering

CHIMBU Governor Michael Dua has warned public servants in the province to stay out politics and focus on service delivery.
“I have wasted more than two years in court when I should be planning and delivering services to our people,” Dua said when addressing a crowd after his court victory as the duly elected leader.
“Now that the court case has been settled, I want Chimbu’s public servants to focus on their jobs.
“Some of our public servants took sides during the court battle but now that all has been settled, I want them to focus on service delivery.
“Anyone found to be playing politics will be disciplined accordingly.”
Meanwhile, Dua commended Prime Minister James Marape for allocating four ministries to Chimbu MPs.
“I commended Marape for his foresight and wisdom in appointing four of our MPs as state ministers in his new government.”
Dua is a member of the United Resource Party (URP).
The four MPs are Karimui-Nomane MP Jeffrey Kama (Environment, Conservation and Climate Change), Sinasina-Yongomugl MP Kerenga Kua (Petroleum), Wera Mori (Commerce, Trade and Industry) and Nick Kuman (Higher Education).
