Dua should unite with Chimbu administrator

Letters

IT has come to the attention of the Chimbu people that there is miscommunication and lack of collaboration between Chimbu Governor Michael Dua and the provincial administrator.
We all shared the burden of both leaders who were continuously challenged through courts by their predecessors about their positions.
Almost half of their terms have been lost in the courts.
However, now that both leaders are cleared from allegations, we expect them to collaborate and work in unity for the betterment of the province.
Currently, there is a breakdown in public service in the Kondon Agaundo building as well as service delivery in the province.
Public servants fled their offices after they were threatened by aggrieved clients and service providers for delays in payments.
Officers in the governor’s office are not in their offices.
I appeal to the two leaders to come to terms and restore the pride and confidence they deserve from the people they represent.

  • The Governor and the Administrator’s chairs are not your private chairs… In spite of all court battles and differences both of you must never forget that you are there to serve the people of Simbu. This issue has taken its toll on the service delivery provision, thus the innocent people are suffering so better put aside your differences and work for the common good… The Governor needs to prove to us that he deserves another term, otherwise it is anybody’s game come 2022. Yomba yagl mekmbra nomane yusim eriro……
