THE Dulux Group which specialised in paints and chemicals last Friday had their annual Safety day at the company premises.
First Aid Officer Jacqueline Ghamug said the aim of the safety awareness was to bring back its employees’ consciousness to work place safety after returning from the festivity breaks.
She said: “Because of the nature of our work where we deal with chemicals and processors that are on site we have come up with this activity, where one whole day is set aside for employees to interact and refresh their knowledge on safety.”
It is a must that every employee has to attend for there is no work.
Ghamug said this was the fourth year and it would be an ongoing activity.
They have written letters to the companies and business houses to be part of the safety refreshing awareness.
Morobe Mining Joint Venture (2), SP Brewery (3) and Water PNG (2), responded by sending their representatives.
