TWO East-Asia Pacific (EAP) “Talent Accelerator Scholarship” holders from PNG, Lega Siaka, 21, and Riley Hekure, 18, completed the first part of their cricket scholarship programme at the Centre of Excellence in Brisbane.

Siaka arrived back in the country last Sunday while Hekure joined fellow national U19s for the U19 World Cup qualifier against Vanuatu today in Australia.

The week-long camp saw both members along with their Vanuatu counterpart, Jelany Chilia participate in a mixture of team training sessions, a practice match, strength and conditioning work and some one-on-one sessions with expert coaches.

It was an all-star cast of coaches at the Centre of Excellence with the likes of Stuart Law (Australia U19 coach), John Davison, Kim Hughes, Graeme Hick, Tim Coyle and Adam Griffin all at hand to share their expertise.
