The expectations that the good sponsor and players of the team NBK Consultants Vanuatu Dust put into the team was shattered when they lost their final last Sunday.

The Dust men lost 12-4 to Badili Warokos in the final match of their pool. Warokos earned a gold pass to the next stage of the Ipatas Cup Golden.

Dust major sponsor Nelson Kamapo, owner of team NBK Consultants, said he had faith in his group of young men, when he decided to help their cause.

The job was to make it to the final two of the Ipatas Cup’s Southern challenge which hyad been running over the last two weekends.

From their first first Pool B game against the against Saraga Survivors at Murray Barracks Oval, the Dust proved their were contenders to top the leg but as luck would have it the Warakos took the points in the game that mattered.

Kamapo said his effort of spending more K11,000 in getting the team prepared for the CCIC competition by ordering a set of uniforms  worth K8000 from Fiji and paying the team’s registration and other costs was not wasted as long as the time gained from the experience and did better in the next competition they took part in.
