DIVINE Word University has once again posted its new student intake list on its website instead of the traditional publication in the newspapers.

This is being done for the second consecutive year as part of DWU’s leading role in promoting information and communication technology (ICT) and its conviction that average Papua New Guineans must not shy away from modern ICT but use them.

Students and benefactors are required to check the internet address www.dwu.ac.pg and view the acceptance list under the icon “latest news”.

The university realised that with ICTs such as the internet  and mobile phones becoming common in PNG, students and benefactors could check the DWU website or call the Registrar’s office on phone 422 2937 for the student list.

The DWU acknowledges that printed newspapers have limited access to main towns only and students and parents have to travel for many kilometers to get a copy while the Internet and mobile phone can be accessed anywhere in the country.

Meanwhile, all DWU staff at the main campus in Madang resumed duties yesterday in preparation for registration and resumption of lectures on Feb 10.
