DWU students stage 2022 annual pageant

MISTER and Miss Divine Word University (DWU) were crowned last Saturday at the institution’s 2022 pageant in Madang.
Staged under the theme “Run to win in glitter and gold”, first-year health management student Jamaine Elisha Selaming won the Mr DWU award.
The 18-year-old East New Britain native represented the faculty of medicine and health sciences as Mr FMHS.
Miss DWU was won by 19-year-old Kappa Gaoma currently doing her first year in the department of communication arts.
Head judge Bernard Yegiora said the contestants were judged by their faculty wear, confidence, personality, stage presentation, regional attire, and clarity.
DWU female Student Representative Council (SRC) vice-president Tema Elliot said the event was held annually to help support the DWU community.
