DYLAN Habitein, from East New Britain and Bougainville, spent about K700 on liquor in Boroko Foodworld and won a vehicle.
South Pacific Brewery national key accounts manager Alicia Obara announced the winner of its “win a car promotion” in Port Moresby on Friday.
Habitein described his win as joyous and surprising as this was his first car.
“I came with my father to buy beer for my elder sister’s graduation lunch.
“When we walked out of the door, the people in the shop told us to fill the form. My dad was not interested, so I filled it up, hoping to be the lucky winner,” he said.
Habitein said he would use the car to start a small medium business.
“The car will be used as an uber. So I can make some money and pay for my school fees” he added.
Habitein is studying commercial cookery at the International Education Agency College of Technical and Further Education.
