Eagles keen to swoop into semis

BROWN Eagles pitcher Colish Pagal holds the key to victory as they face PNG Power in the qualifying final of the Port Moresby men’s A-grade softball on Sunday.
The Eagles have a young bunch that will go all day and try to get on top of Danny Tovia’s pitching.
The Benji Paivu and Consie Lumaris-coached team will have a chance of causing a hard time against seasoned campaigners PNG Power, who have been there before.
PNG Power, with Tovia brothers Danny and Isikel Jr, Eddie Simba, Eugene ToVue and Michael Parom, need to get on the top of Colish Pagal’s pitching to make that difference in scoring runs.  For Defence, their pitcher and catcher will have a lot to do if they want to win. With their captain Kepas Mormor, who has been their best all year leading from the front, assisted by Chris Paak and his infield chargers, they also have the helping hand of Michael Avosa in the centre outfield, who has been a solid contributor as well.
The sleeping giants, United Brothers have a bunch of batters who have been solid but not setting the comp on , apart from the captain Dicky Bart Jr.
For the team to win, they must improve their batting and not to leak runs.
The team that makes the least errors will win the game.
