JOSEPH Ealedona has been elected as the new Port Moresby Soccer Association (PMSA) president.
Ealedona told The National yesterday that his main objective would be to raise the standards of Port Moresby’s premier football competition and at the same time be responsible towards its teams, players and officials.
“I thank the congress for having faith in me,” he said.
“PMSA has gone through some difficult times but the commitment of clubs officials and players remains strong and we are grateful for this.
“I simply want to lift standards in all areas from the management of football, including the clubs, venue and spectators, to bringing in corporate support.” The congress also witnessed the appointment of Kisokiu Posman as the vice-president.
