Eales will help Pukpuks 7s

FORMER Pukpuk Adam Hill has commended the Papua New Guinea Rugby Football Union for its strong commitment and good governance.

Hill, chief executive officer of Pac­Wealth Capital Limited, announced his commitment to PNGRFU with K100,000.

That includes the inclusion of former Wallabies World Cup winning skipper John Eales, pictured, who will be offering his services to help the SP Export Lager Pukpuk 7s team. 

The announcement was made on Wednesday evening at Ela Beach Hotel, in Port Moresby.

 “PNGRFU has demonstrated a commitment to strong governance through the leadership of the board and senior management, creating some clear pathways, which we are looking forward to being a part of in 2013,” Hill said.

PNGRFU general manager Si­­mon Kerr said the union was grateful for Hilland his company’s contribution.

 “PacWealth Capital’s additional support of toward our SP Export Lager Pukpuk 7s will contribute greatly toward our pathway back into the IRB Rugby 7s circuit,” Kerr said.

“Adam has always been a proud Pukpuk and we welcome him and his company to our journey back into the World IRB 7s Circuit and onward to the 2016 Olympic Games,” Kerr said.

Hill stressed the importance of having Eales to support the Pukpuks 7s team. 

Eales is a keen advocate of rugby and the PNGRFU will be able to use him throughout the year.

“Having someone like Eales in­volved with PNGRFU is a great boost for our code,” PNGRFU president Richard Sapias said.

“We  look forward to hosting him at an event co-hosted by PacWealth Capital and PNRGRFU in the near future,” PNGRFU president Richard Sapias said.

“PacWealth Capital is looking at working with PNGRFU for 2013 and beyond and we are all very excited about the year to come.”
