Eastern Highlands is the Land of Lahanis

 I WANT to congratulate Governor Julie Soso  on behalf of Eastern Highlanders for her proposal to change the provincial emblem from the “Land of Nokondi” to the “Land of Lahanis”.

This  was announced during National Prayer Day before Prime Minister Peter O’Neill and other national ministers and delegates.

The  “Nokondi” provincial emblem, has been a concern for some time for many in Eastern Highlands.

We wish the working committee all the best in fast-tracking the process of officially restoring  Lahanis to its original position. 

We are proud to welcome all to the “Land of Lahanis”.
