Education can remove poverty

I DON’T agree with Papua New Guinea being described as rich and filled with natural resources.
Many people today are poor because they are lazy and the number of poor and lazy people is increasing.
Poverty is a serious disaster that is not properly recognised.
I know how my ancestors in the Highlands have lived.
They were strong gardeners who made sure food was available at all times.
Poverty was not a thing to worry about.
The same cannot be said for today.
The hands of this generation have grown weary.
Gardening has become a thing of the past and people are becoming lazy to toil the soil.
Poor diet and lifestyle diseases are the possible results of poverty.
It is through the power of education that PNG can change into a land of milk and honey.
PNG needs education.
