KOMPIAM High School principal Nelson Keke is grateful for Enga Governor Peter Ipatas’ free education policy.

Keke said Ipatas was interested in the wellbeing of people and had invested a lot in education over the years.

“We are witnessing a lot of positive changes in the province,” he said.

“There is a big hospital being built, Sopas School of Nursing is to be reopened next year and Enga Teachers College as well.

“Within a short time, Ipatas has achieved a lot for the province in education, infrastructure and other developments.

“Now the governor is sending another 120 school leavers to the Philippines to undergo training in mechanical and catering for six months.

“These are great achievements for the province and country,” Keke said.

“Ipatas has been in politics for less than 16 years but he has so far taken  the province to another level.

“The governor has set a positive example and also challenge for other political leaders in the country.”
