THERE have been many comments from educated Papua New Guineans trying to understand the majority of voters and their choice.
Lack of awareness is still a big problem in most rural areas and will pave the way for corruption.
For PNG to prosper, we should put communication as well as the technology and mediums at the forefront of basic services.
Waigani must hear, see and properly understand the people’s cries.
The people must be given the power to understand issues and be able to see developments taking place.
Otherwise, the few of us who have the privilege to be exposed will keep questioning the misguided masses when the simple answer comes from our own tok bilas (mockery).
Confusion and disorder among the people happen mainly due to the lack of or breakdown in communication.
PNG will continue to be plundered by those who have the knowledge to do so.
Communication is the key to all power and knowledge.
With knowledge, we will have the power to bring about positive changes, progress and development .
However, this can only come about when we are a majority.
