UNDERDOGS Ela Motors are aiming for an upset over reigning champions Snipers in the men’s premier competition at the Taurama Leisure Centre volleyball courts on Saturday.
Ela Motors have returned to scene this season with more ammunition. The inclusion of former TAVA hitter/blocker Robert Gamini should ignite more fire at the net. So far, they have recorded one win and a loss.
With experience under his belt, Gamini has join forces with Joe Sam, John Oa, Joe Aisi and setter Willie Pote have formed a solid combination for their opponents to crack.
Snipers almost gave away the game to Gulf East Timbers last Saturday when Maguli Bernard, Karo Skel, Ezekiel Vene and Timo Kila showed a below par performance.
They are also looking shaky and if not careful, Ela Motors could end up turning the tables on them.
