ELA Motors gave two Yamaha generators to the Western Highlands health authority (WHPHA) yesterday for its rural health centres to improve services to the people.
Ela Motors, under its community programme, donated the generators which would boost health care services in remote areas.
Branch manager Bennie Irali handed over the generators to WHPA’s Julie Bengi.
He said the company was proud to be supporting crucial community services like healthcare.
Irali said the car dealer had also backed the community in other areas such as sport and church activities.
He said despite facing a downturn in business, Ela Motors still had a heart for the people.
“We have also supported churches, sports and cultural shows and organisations like hospitals that benefit a majority,” he said.
“This donation will help the health authority in Western Highlands to continue with their work in taking care of the people.”
Irali said the company believed in helping the most people through its community programme.
Bengi thanked Ela Motors for the support.
She said WHPHA was grateful to get help from businesses.
