THE Rimbunan Hijau Group of Companies continued its relationship with the Ela Murray International School by donating 500 Trukai Fun Run T-shirts yesterday.
School deputy principal Andrew Levey thanked RH for the continued support over the past years.
Levey said the school was pleased to take part in the fun run organised by Trukai Industries (PNG) Ltd because it involved the community.
“We are happy to be involved because it is a worthy cause that involves the entire community. It is good community spirit and we are proud to be involved,” he said.
Levey said the support given by RH Group of Companies over the years had enabled the students, teachers and parents of the school to participate.
“We are grateful to the company,” he added.
He said this year, the students, school staff and parents would take part.
“Every year, we have different people taking part and we have also involved parents, teachers and students,” Levey, who received the T-shirts from RH representative Daneilla Tio, said.
Tio, who is the human resources and administration manager, said the shirts would be used to raise money for the school.
She was also pleased that the children were excited about receiving the donations.
The Trukai Fun Run kicks of at the end of next month.
