Electoral officer posts K6,000 bail

A FORMER employee of the Madang district office has been charged with six counts of misappropriation and false pretense.
Zebedee Kalup was yesterday released on a K6,000 bail.
Kalup is implicated in a K4.25 million misappropriation case at the National Planning office
Kalup was seen on Tuesday in the Jomba cells in a jovial mood, mixing freely with police officers and even allowed to roam in the holding area.
Family members were camped outside awaiting the paperwork for his release to be effected.
His lawyer, Philip Kintau, flew in from Port Moresby to pursue his bail application.
Kalup is also facing an incest charge.
