The Stallions women’s team is one of three teams looking to participate along with Kimbe Palms women’s side and the Nova women’s team from Port Moresby.
The women’s division has left a minimum of four teams for the women’s division and 16 teams for the men’s division.
Organisers have started work on the Pora Oval in Wewak, East Sepik, where the Agmark Sepik Nines will take place (Nov 26-27) while the sevens tournament follows the weekend after.
The Agmark Nines last week confirmed a total of 16 teams to participate with organisers noting participation from teams from seven provinces.
Both events have been given conditional approval with a minimal number of teams to compete under strict Coronavirus guidelines.
