Emerging Mossies to play Academy

AN emerging PNG Mosquitoes side has been selected to play against the AFLPNG Academy side during the Australia Week celebrations next month.
The celebrations will be held from March 5-11.
The match between the emerging Mossies and the Academy side will be hosted by AFLPNG at the Amini Park on March 10.

The Australia week will get the AFLPNG calendar of events underway.
Some of the exciting events on the calendar are the AFLPNG saveman tour in April followed by the U16 Binatang tour to Brisbane in May, the U14 Binatang tour to the Sunshine Coast in June, the U16 South Pacific tour to Sydney in July and the AFLPNG junior and senior finals in August.
In October, the AFLPNG national championships will be held and the AFLPNG academy in Bomana will tour Melbourne.
In November, the AFL national draft process will begin while the AFLPNG talent camp will be held in December.
The U16 Binatangs squad will travel to Brisbane for the Queensland State U16 championships which will be held at Yerong AFC from May 2-7.
