Employees awarded

THREE long-serving Air Niugini employees were among 44 staff members recognised for an award by the airline during its 46th anniversary celebrations last week.
They were aircraft maintenance engineer (LAME) Peter Gawi, cabin crew trainer Esther Sapulai and supervisor Olga Apelis who started with the airline in 1973 when it started operations.
The rest of the recognised employees worked for Air Niugini for 25, 30, 35 and 40 years respectively.
In presenting the long-service awards, Air Niugini’s managing director Alan Milne acknowledged the staff for their loyalty, commitment and dedication to the company.
