THE Triumph Heritage Empowerment Party believes in the talents of the people of Papua New Guinea, Opposition leader Don Polye says.
Polye, the founder and parliamentary leader of the party, launched the party’s website in Port Moresby last week.
“We believe in the talents of Papua New Guineans and we believe in their ability to develop. Our vision is to empower the people,” he said.
He said the party had a robust policy driven by the vision to empower Papua New Guineans.
“We will be presenting and deliberating our party policies next Tuesday at the National Research Institute in Port Moresby,” Polye said.
The party convention will be held from April 5 to 7 in Port Moresby.
Polye said the internet was one of the most innovative technological inventions of the 21st century.
He said maintaining open communication with the people and every stakeholder was a very important part of democracy.
“It helps in addressing issues affecting the community. THE Party would be using the internet as one of the mediums to engage closely with the people.
“We believe in value, transparency and freedom of expression,” Polye said.
He said the website www.theparty.org.pg would have seven important features.
