THE East New Britain (ENB) assembly has debated on accusations that foreign entities are operating businesses without adhering to local laws. The concern was raised by Gazelle MP Jelta Wong. Word has been going around that some new foreign balsa companies were going straight to the people in the ward level and land owners to negotiate and start their operations. Wong said: “Apparently. new balsa entities are stealing balsa from other long-established companies and are using the people to go out in the night and steal balsa. “What is our provincial government doing? “Are we just going to sit and watch? “We need to do something about it.”
