EAST New Britain now has 15 Bank South Pacific ATMs installed in the province.
The number of ATMs in the province increased by one after the bank opened a new machine at the NGIP Agmark Talina yesterday.
Speaking at the opening, Kokopo branch manager Albert Burua said the new ATM was the eleventh machine under the Kokopo branch alone.
There are four other machines already installed and operating under the Rabaul branch.
“We will not rest on our achievements, but continue to strive and deliver more and more for our customers in ENB.
“We will serve our customers better and more efficiently and effectively,” he said.
He said customers were increasingly looking for ways to get more from the financial service industry and it was the bank’s commitment to provide services that were flexible and convenient.
He said the roll-out of ATMs nationwide was one aspect of their commitment to customers.
Burua said the new ATM at Agmark Talina brought the number of ATMs in the country to 234.
The bank has more than 5,700 Eftpos terminals throughout the country.
Burua urged the people of the province as well as visitors to see the machine as an important service and to look after it.
“We will deliver, but our assets must be looked after,” he said.
