Enough fuel to supply customers, says executive

PUMA Energy says it has enough fuel to supply customers during the state of emergency period.
Country general manager and director Hulala Tokome told The National yesterday that the company’s refinery continued to provide fuel to the service stations.
“Puma Energy has implemented our BCP (business continuity planning) with selected staff working from home and non-essential staff being stood down (but on call),” Tokome said.
“As we are a critical element in ensuring that we continue to provide fuel products for this period, we have the refinery continuing to produce quality fuel at normal levels to ensure we maintain fuel requirements.”
Tokome said there was an oversupply of fuel in the market resulting in lower retail prices.
