Envoy welcomes students

Four Papua New Guineans who had completed their Masters degree at the United Kingdom’s top universities under Chevening Scholarship Programme have been welcome by British High Commissioner to Keith Scott.
They are: Joshua Kaile (international law and sustainable development, University of Strathclyde), Fiona Margaret Kaumu (geographical information systems, University of Aberdeen), Alithia Mutiara Barampataz (human rights and cultural diversity, University of Essex) and Blanche Kautu Vitata (internet law and policy, University of Strathclyde.
The United Kingdom’s Chevening Scholarship Programme has been in existence for 35 years and has benefitted more than 100 Papua New Guineans.
It offers post-graduate study for the best and brightest to attend the UK’s world-class higher education system.
