Eoe should fund port in Kikori

Letters

THE appointment of Kikori MP and Foreign Affairs Minister Soroi Eoe as the country’s acting Prime Minister in Prime Minister James Marape’s absence is nothing little but a huge achievement for a first time MP.
Eoe can do so much during his time in officer.
He was just a farmer prior to entering parliament, despite having a notable qualification.
He can do better for the country and can use his power to leave a legacy behind.
Currently, he posses the authority to direct ministers and impose laws.
This does not mean he can exercise the power of a sitting prime minister whichever way he chooses.
There are certain limits to master a prime ministerial duty during his short term.
I want Eoe to fund the Kikori port immediately in line with Marape’s statement of maintaining the port.
Eoe does not need to oversee the process, but he can give orders to fund the port’s maintenance.
