Erima market idle, waste of money

Letters

ERIMA market at the corner of Erima roundabout is sitting idle.
No one is using the facility.
It was built by Moresby North West MP John Kaupa for K2 million.
The market comprises two small buildings, which could have easily cost around K200,000.
What happened to the other K1.8 milion?
Taxpayers’ monies are wasted.
Port Moresby’s roads are riddled with potholes.
This money should have been used on fixing our roads.
There is a worrying issue with blockages to the drainage systems in the city when it rains.
That is not good for motorists.
This is our capital city and we should not have potholes and drain blockages.
Can the Government look into this?
