Eternal affection and love

I WOULD like to reply to Brother Jef on his comment challenging Pope Francis.
What’s so blasphemous about saying, “I bring you eternal affection and love”?
Anybody can say that to ayone.
You see Brother Jef, we are all Christians and we believe in life after death.
That is eternal life.
As Christians, it is our destiny to have eternal life.
God’s love for us is eternal, likewise, our love for one another should be eternal.
This is because we are all called together as a family of God the Father through His only son Jesus Christ our saviour.
If only the world had eternal love towards one another, there wouldn’t be any wars, crime, poverty, corruption, racial discrimination, religious hatred and so on.
It would be like Heaven on Earth, right Brother Jef?
Wouldn’t you love that?
