FORMER Madang MP Alois Kingsley, charged with two counts each of stealing, forgery and uttering has been committed to stand trial in the National Court.
Waigani Committal Court Magistrate Billy Pidu said yesterday when committing Kingsley that police evidence was sufficient to make a prima facie case against him.
He also instructed that Kingsley was subject to new bail rules.
Kingsley is facing six charges linked to the alleged transfer of shares in a company to himself.
Prosecutor Senior Sergeant Joseph Sangum told the court that there was no issue with the police documents and the case could be tried in the National Court.
