Expensive exercise

IT is a disgrace when we read and hear of landlords in Port Moresby shutting the doors to their buildings and locking government workers out.
The refurbished Manasupe Haus and the two central government offices in Waigani are not enough to house all government departments.
Central covernment agencies
and departments are still leasing buildings or office spaces all over Port Moresby and paying rental bills that cost millions of kina every year.
It is an expensive exercise and a burden on taxpayers. The Government really needs to find a solution to the problem.
